Panzer III 1/72 Scale

Member John Shimek attended the 2016 IPMS USA Convention in Columbia, S.C. and won third place in 1/72 scale Axis AFV’s class with his Panzer III by Revell.

The model is a 1/72 scale Panzer III from Revell. The kit is out of box construction with the addition of after market winter tracks from OKB Grigorov. Model Master paints using the hairspray technique for a faded winter camouflage as would be seen in late winter, early spring in Russia. It is weathered with oils and AK Interactive wash.
