JayDee Mustang – Cleveland Air Races

This is the DRAGON 1/32 scale mustang built by member Ed Kinney. This bird flew in the Cleveland Air Races in 1949 and was owned by a Beech Aircraft distributor named J.D. Reed. Ed was at this air race in 1949 as a 10 year old boy and got to sit in the cockpit! Ed finished this Mustang in a copper color that looks like a bright new penny using nail polish and Alclad II copper paint. Nice job Ed!
