BTR-152 Iraq 1/72 Scale

Member John Shimek built this BTR-152 as used in Iraqi service in 2003. This is an ICM kit in 1/72 scale. Scratch built items include – rear bench seats (2), rear seat backs (2), rear door details/structure, winch cover, winch and cable. Scribed hood panels and added rivets to nose of vehicle. Drilled out u-joints (6) and added new drive shafts from plastic rod (9) on drive train. Painted with Model Master paint and weathered with oil washes and pastel chalks. Enjoy !
