P-51 D by Bob Ulrich 1/32 Scale

Member Bob Ulrich built this gorgeous P-51 D. In bob’s own words – “Here are some pix of my latest. Tamiya 1/32 P-51D, 15th FG, 49th FS, South Field Iwo Jima, summer 1945. Most detail scratch built, Barracuda cockpit decals, Barracuda wheels, Eduard fabric seat belts. Alclad finish overall. Eagle Strike decals, except the pilot’s name block which was not on the decal sheet. I made this using Bare Metal decal film in my printer. Printed it black with clear lettering, put down a patch of white decal first and the homemade decal over it.” Beautiful build Bob and thanks for sharing !
