February 17 2025 Mtg Happy Valentines Day URGENT NOTICE Mtg CANCELED

Hey guys.

Due to several recent happenings, I am going to cancel tonight’s meeting.

The reasons are.

1.  It’s supposed to be damn cold.

2.  There seems to be a problem with 2 of our boilers

3.  I feel like crap.

I think I might have caught the crap that is going around.

We are waiting for a boiler guy to come and take a look at the boilers, after which I am heading home and crashing.

Hope this doesn’t throw a wrench into your day but I think it would be better than listening to me cough and hack through the meeting.

Hey guys,

Let’s try this again. 

As you all know last month’s meeting was cancelled due to weather. This caused a small problem with the monthly theme setup. After some back and forth conversations with some members, here is what we came up with. 

This month’s meeting will be a combination Jan/Feb meeting with the theme for Jan being shelf queens and the theme for Feb being buildings. I will set up one display table for the theme contests with a divider down the middle for each month. Another table will be set up for the non-theme contest. We are combining the the non-theme entries into one large contest. To make up for the loss of non-theme points for Jan double points will be awarded.

If you have any questions or concerns just give me a yell.

That’s it for now. See you all Monday at 6:30 at Simpson United Methodist Church. Weather permitting.

The Theme for January is “Shelf Queen” and we also have concurrently for February meeting ‘Building – Structures”. There will also be a Non-Theme category but only one (1).

In March 2025 the Theme contest is “Bigger is Better’ sponsored by member Steve Reisch.
