March 2025 Meeting – March 17

Here is the latest from Chapter President Dave Ball …

Hey guys,

Let’s try this again.

As you know, we need to have 4 contests at our next meeting this Monday evening.

With a little bit of back and forth with other people here is what I came up with.

I will set up 4 areas, 1 for each monthly theme contest plus a 4th area for non-theme.

I will label them Jan. , Feb., Mar and non-theme. Each one will have its own sign up sheet.

I will also have a voting ballot sheet made up with a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place entry for each monthly contest plus the non-theme contest.

Because this will create a good amount of tabulating on Larry’s part, Larry is going to take the sign up sheets and the ballots home with him that way he can do the figuring at his leisure.

We will announce the winners at the April meeting.

The theme for Jan. was “shelf queens”. The theme for Feb was “Buildings” and the theme for Mar. Is “bigger is better”.

If you have any questions or comments please remember that we have never been through this before and your dear president has a heart condition so be kind.

The Theme for January is “Shelf Queen” and we also have concurrently for February meeting ‘Building – Structures”. There will also be a Non-Theme category but only one (1).

In March 2025 the Theme contest is “Bigger is Better’ sponsored by member Steve Reisch.
