December Meeting 2024

A message from our Chapter President –

Hey guys,

Just a quick reminder about this month’s meeting this coming Monday at 6:30 over at the Simpson United Methodist Church.

This is our annual Christmas meeting. Pizza and drinks will be provided by the club. Members are encouraged to provide cookies, chips and etc. 

The theme this month is “cold war period”. Anything from the time of about 1949 to about 1991 is accepted.

There will also be a non-theme contest as well.

This is also the last month for modeler of the year.

Plus club dues are due.

If you would like to present a demo, or if you have a demo subject you would like to see presented, talk to one of the officers at the meeting. Odds are, many of the rest of us would be interested, also!

Several members attended and displayed models at American Legion Post 44 in Canton for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Saturday December 7. Thanks to all that came. There were a couple of WWII veterans in attendance as well as a surprise visit from Pro Football HOFer Demarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos inducted in 2023. A lunch was provided by the Legion to all attendees . A good time was had by all.
