June 2021 Meeting

Our next Fame Cities Chapter meeting is June 21, 2021 at our location – Simpson United Methodist Church located at 4900 Middlebranch Rd, Canton, Oh. Entrance is by the lower doors from the parking lot.
There will be a Theme contest for June 2021 is ‘Bigger is Better’: Ships 1/72, Air 1/32, Veh 1/16 by member Steve Reisch.
Non-Theme Contests
There is a non-theme contest every month, whether or not a theme contest is planned. So bring whatever you’ve got and let’s fill up those tables!

Next month theme for July – ‘SCI-FI’ portraying space, time travel/life on other planets by member Chris Vandergrift !

If you would like to present a demo, or if you have a demo subject you would like to see presented, talk to one of the officers at the meeting. Odds are, many of the rest of us would be interested, also!

Here is a note from President Dave Ball –

My son and me have been wrestling with my phone all afternoon trying to put out and e-mail about the fellowship halls lack of air conditioning. We have not had any luck. Would it be possible for you to send out one telling everyone about this and that I will have fans positioned about the area where we meet to help circulate the air. I will also reposition the model table so the fans will not blow on the models.
We will keep working on my old phone so that you will not have to do this in the future.

Also a big Kudo to Chris Vandergrift for making the cover of IPMS Magazine for his Marine Cobra weathering article. Way to go Chris!!!
