August 2024 Meeting and Annual Auction

Our next Fame Cities Chapter meeting is August 19, 2024 (6:30 PM) at our location – Simpson United Methodist Church located at 4900 Middlebranch Rd, Canton, Oh.
Entrance is by the lower doors from the parking lot.

Dave Ball FameCities President had the following to mention about the August meeting –

Hey guys,

I know you all are so excited because it’s that time of year for our annual kit auction. Bring those kits that you bought way back when and thought you would build it right away but for some reason that didn’t happen. 

There will also be a non-theme contest plus I would like to hear from Big John how the nationals went.

So dig down between the cushions of your couch (make sure it’s a sofa that Vance hasn’t had contact with) for any change that has fallen there and be ready to bid high.

John will give a report on the Nat’s held at Madison, Wisc. last month.

Also upcoming next month in September – Just a reminder that the September meeting is our annual Picnic held at member John Shimek’s house on September 15 (Sunday). Info for driving in next months notice.
