March 2014 Meeting

Our March 2014 meeting will be at the Cutler Realty Monday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m. Our normal monthly business/topics will be discussed.
We do not have a Theme Contest scheduled this month, however we will have a Non-Theme contest for any models displayed by members, so bring out your latest builds for all to enjoy.
Hope to see you there and if you know someone interested in the hobby, invite them along.

TriCon sponsored by Three Rivers IPMS in Pittsburgh Pa., is scheduled for March 22 at AW Beattie Career Center, 9600 Babcock Blvd, Allison Park, Pa. so clear your schedules tp make your plans for this event.

A local hobby shop, Wings, Wheels and Waves is planning their 2nd annual Military Model Contest on Sunday March 30th, 2014. Two classes – Junior (up to 17 yrs old) and Adult (18 and up). There are 4 Divisions per class – Armor, Aircraft, Naval and Diorama, all scales combined.

Member Larry Davis will have a demonstration this month, – “How I do Research”. Hopefully, we all research that next build we plan and there are many ways to research, so it will be interesting to see how a modeler of Larry’s high caliber conducts his research. Thanks Larry.
