August 18, 2025 Meeting & Club Auction

Hey guys it’s that time of the month when I know you all look forward to my monthly reminder.

So here goes.

This month is our auction so there is not a theme.

There will be a non-theme contest of course.

Plus maybe we can get Big John to fill us in on how the Nationals went.

So gather up all those old kits that are gathering dust and bring them in. Then you can get more kits that will lay around and gather dust.

That’s it for now so I will see you guys Monday at Simpson United Methodist Church at 6:30.

We had 4 members attend the IPMS USA National Convention in Hampton Virginia two weeks ago with 2 competing in the contest, while the other two were very busy in the vendors $ room. Members Mark Gamble and John Shimek placed in the contest. Mark won a 1st place (aircraft) and a 2nd place (Armor) in his first convention competing ! John Shimek won 1st place in (Armor) competing in his 32nd convention Congratulations to both, Woo-hoo !

If you would like to present a demo, or if you have a demo subject you would like to see presented, talk to one of the officers at the meeting. Odds are, many of the rest of us would be interested, also!
